Ladies and Gentlemen, Distinguished Guests, Dear Colleagues,

It is a true honor to welcome you all today as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of MIFIDA. This milestone is not only about marking ten years — it is about celebrating the journey we have made together.
Today, as MIFIDA stands at this remarkable milestone, I am proud to say that we have improved the lives of thousands of Myanmar families. Through our microfinance activity, we have helped small and medium businesses to flourish, children to continue their education, and communities to gain confidence in their future. Along the way, we have faced challenges — economic changes, social uncertainties, global and local crises. But with the dedication of our outstanding employees, the trust of our valuable clients, the support of our partners, and the strong commitment of our shareholders and board members. To each and every one of you, I extend my deepest gratitude.
Mifida’s achievements are the collective success of everyone in this room and beyond. As we enter our second decade, our dream is even greater. We envision that “Creating a world where everyone can determine their future” is not only a wish but a reality for all of our clients. We will continue our mission of “Extending financial inclusion across Myanmar” by strengthening our partnerships, deepening our outreach, optimizing our services and creating new opportunities for those who need them most. With unity, consistency, and commitment, I believe that MIFIDA can have an even greater impact. Of course MIFIDA will still be driven by the 5 values that guide our decisions and day-to-day work, which are: – (1) Empathy (2) Integrity (3) Courtesy (4) Wisdom and (5) Trust.
